Celebrating our Post 16 Students

We are very proud of our Post 16 students, who are celebrating a fantastic set of A Level and vocational results today.

At A Level, 7% of grades were A or above, 31% were B or higher and 66% were C or higher, with a strong 93% overall pass rate. We are particularly pleased to see an increase in A* grades, alongside improvements in C+ grades in subjects including Maths and Geography.

Our vocational students have also achieved excellent results, with 21% of grades at Distinction*, 51% at Distinction or above and 90% at Merit or higher. The overall pass rate was an impressive 97%, with five subjects achieving a 100% pass rate.

Many of our students have achieved very strong sets of results. We are especially delighted to celebrate three students who achieved exceptional results across all their subjects, having been with us since Year 7:

·         Student A: A*, A*, A*

·         Student B: A*, A, A

·         Student C: A*, Distinction*, Distinction

Of the students applying to university, 26 out of 31 have already secured a place at their first or second choice, with support in place for those still finalising their next steps.
