Celebrating Our Year 11 Students

We are proud of our Year 11 students, who are receiving their GCSE and vocational results today. These results reflect the hard work and commitment of our students, supported by their teachers, families and the wider school community, with many individual successes to celebrate.

At GCSE, 59% of grades were at 4+ and 40% were at 5+, with 25% of grades at 6 or higher.

There have been some excellent individual subject successes, including:

  • Triple Science, where students have continued to achieve excellent results, with 90% achieving 5+ in Biology (76% in 2025), 92% in Chemistry (68% in 2025) and 94% in Physics (90% in 2025).

  • Religious Studies, where 72% of students achieved 5+ (63% in 2025) and 61% achieved 6+ (54% in 2025).

  • Art, Photography and Spanish, which all saw notable uplift in the proportion of students achieving 4+ and 5+, and French, where 31% of students achieved grades at 7+ (a 12% increase from 2025).

Our vocational students have also achieved some very strong results, with 54% of grades at Level 2 Pass or higher and 15% at Level 2 Distinction or above. In Hair & Beauty, 38% of students achieved a Level 2 Distinction or Distinction* (up from 29% in 2025).

We are particularly pleased to highlight four students who achieved exceptional results across a broad range of subjects and have been part of our school community since Year 7:

  • Student A: 9, 9, 9, 9, 8, 8, 8, 7, 7, 5
  • Student B: 9, 9, 9, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 7, 7, Distinction
  • Student C: 9, 9, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 7, 6, 7
  • Student D: 9, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 7, 7, 6

Congratulations to all our Year 11 students! We are proud of everything they have achieved and wish them every success as they take their next steps in education, training and employment.
