Re: Oaks Park High School Ofsted Inspection 2023 - Final Report
I am delighted to inform you that following an inspection by Ofsted on 12th/13th October, the school has achieved a ‘Good’ outcome in all categories. This is a real testament to the hard work and dedication of our wonderful staff, students, and the continued support of parents.
We are incredibly proud of this achievement, as it reflects the improvements we have made over the past few years. The report highlights many positive aspects of our school, demonstrating the commitment we have towards providing an excellent learning environment for your children.
The report stated that the school is “ambitious for all pupils, including those with SEND and that it has designed a curriculum that sets out high academic expectations”.
The inspectors praised our staff for their high expectations and the high quality of teaching throughout the school, noting that our teachers have strong subject knowledge and this is reflected in their high quality explanations of subject content. They noted that pupils achieve well, are respectful and polite and understand the school’s expectations in terms of conduct and behaviour.
They also commented on the wide range of extra-curricular clubs and other opportunities available to students at Oaks Park High.
They recognised that this is a welcoming school where pupils are happy, well looked after and kept safe. The report commented on staff knowing our pupils well and building positive relationships with them.
We wanted to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for your continued trust and involvement in your child's education. Your support has contributed to our success.
While achieving a Good outcome is a significant accomplishment, we continue to remain committed to building on our achievements, striving for excellence, and ensuring that every child at our school has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Thank you once again for your ongoing support. We are genuinely grateful to have such a wonderful community who play an instrumental role in the success of our school.
