On Saturday 20th April, Year 10 student Akhil took part in the TCS Mini London Marathon.

Akhil raced 2.6k in the Under 17 T33/34 class and came third in his age group.

Prior to the race, he trained with British Paralympic athletes. Despite it being very hard work, Akhil approached it with enthusiasm and dedication.

Akhil has consistently impressed us with his determination and resilience. He is always polite, cheerful and helpful around school. This is a brilliant achievement and we are so proud of him.
