Our author visit on 23rd January was a great success with our Year 7 students.

Jennifer Killick, author of over a dozen books for children, spent the day at Oaks park entertaining students with stories about her life as a writer, presenting workshops about planning horror stories and hosting a bookshop style book signing session. Jennifer chatted with students about a shared love of manga and there was even time for some selfies with students! 

Year 7 were so inspired by her visit, all of her books in the library are now out on loan.
