The Year 7 Accelerated Reader scheme, which encourages students to come to the library to borrow books, read regularly and earn points and prizes for their class and for individual achievement, has started well, and we already have several Word Millionaires and 100% Quizmasters. As a year group, the students have read an incredibly impressive 25 million words and taken and passed over 800 quizzes. Great work! We've enjoyed welcoming Year 7 for weekly library lessons and seeing the students' pride in their achievements.
