Be The Boss Exhibition
Posted: 24/02/23
In CfL, Year 7 students have been working in small groups to design a new product for the school canteen.
They have been responsible for conducting market research, designing the product and completing a spreadsheet which shows costs and profit.
Recently, students exhibited their work to members of the school community and parents/carers.
During the exhibition visitors were able to see the work students have completed, listen to their pitches and provide feedback to help them improve their products.
The winning groups from the exhibitions look forward to pitching their ideas to our catering company Harrisons.
We had some very positive feedback from parents/carers who visited the exhibition:
It was lovely to see the children present and to see they have researched so thoroughly.
Great to see the work the children have done and so nice to be able to see the school and feel involved.
The professional presentations were excellent. Loved the project and exhibition as it promotes confidence in the students.
Great presentations and confidence. It was great fun and a great way to show student progress.
Lovely, chatty children who were able to answer all of the questions well.
The energy, seeing team work and their learning process. All valuable experiences. Very impressive. Well done!
Thoughtful presentations and very informative. It was great to see so much energy from the students.
